We’re off to Sevilla
The shutters are up…
Today we’re off to Sevilla to present Medieval Dublin at ARQUEOLOGICA 2.0, a conference on virtual archaeology.
The conference brings archaeologists, historians, researchers, writers, 3D animators and developers together for three days to discuss how virtual reconstruction and digital media can be benefit the fields of archaeology and cultural heritage.
As far as we know, this is the first conference ever held in this field. We’re delighted to have the chance to present Medieval Dublin to a global audience and to meet others working in the same area (and yes…we’re looking forward to some delicious Spanish tapas and beers too.)
Credit and thanks go to the Spanish Society of Virtual Archaeology (SEAV) and in particular to Victor Manuel Lopez-Menchero Bendicho for organising the event.
We’ll be taking time out to post an update or two during the conference, and will take some pictures too, so stay tuned!
