Welcome to the Medieval Dublin blog!
This small corner of the web is devoted to all things medieval and Dublinesque. Over the coming months we’ll be blogging on the research and development of the second edition of our interactive DVD, Medieval Dublin: From Vikings to Tudors.
Researchers and writers will contribute on the challenges of translating old stories into a new medium. Animators and operators will be sharing their thoughts on recreating Dublin between 800 and 1540AD. We may even have a guest blogger or two, shedding light on the ways in which multimedia projects like ours complement the real worlds of archaelogy and history.
If you’re interested in medieval life, in Dublin, or in the intersection between entertainment, education and technology, then stop by!
